MIND Selected as Top 10 Finalist for RSAC™ 2025 Conference 20th Annual Innovation Sandbox Contest

MIND Recognized for the First-Ever Data Security Platform that Puts Data Loss Prevention and Insider Risk Management Programs on Autopilot to Stop Data Leaks
SEATTLE, Washington – April 8, 2025 – MIND™, the upcoming leader in data loss prevention (DLP), has been named one of the Top 10 Finalists for the 20th annual RSAC™ 2025 Conference Innovation Sandbox contest for its work to autonomously discover and classify sensitive data, fix data security issues and stop data leaks. MIND will present its technology to a panel of renowned industry judges and a live in-person audience on Monday, April 28 at RSAC 2025 Conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The RSAC Innovation Sandbox contest, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, has become the world’s premier showcase for the cybersecurity startup community as promising young cybersecurity companies showcase their groundbreaking technologies and compete for the title of “Most Innovative Startup.” The competition is widely recognized as a catapult for success as the Top 10 Finalists have collectively celebrated more than 90 acquisitions and received $16.4 billion in investments over the last 19 years. MIND will have three minutes to pitch the panel of judges before a question-and-answer round. For the first time, each of the Top 10 Finalists in 2025 will receive a $5 million investment to drive cybersecurity innovation.
“As we enter a new age of threats, innovation and new technologies are critical to achieving a safer society,” said Cecilia Marinier, Vice President, Innovation & Scholars, RSAC. “The RSAC Innovation Sandbox contest is an unparalleled opportunity for both the industry and the entrepreneur to highlight industry-changing solutions, companies and entrepreneurs.”
Traditional DLP is broken. Security teams struggle with outdated tools that fail to prevent sensitive data loss, lack accurate classification and demand excessive administrative overhead leading to overwhelming false positives and eroding trust and effectiveness. Data security posture tools don’t prevent the loss of sensitive data in real-time and can’t enforce organizational policies for data in motion and use.
MIND reimagines data security with the industry’s first platform to deliver both posture and prevention – protecting data at rest, in motion and in use. With the MIND AI multi-layer classification engine, real-time detection and automated prevention and remediation, MIND enables enterprises to build effective data security programs with minimal headcount.
By providing a unified data security platform, MIND allows organizations to seamlessly safeguard sensitive data across SaaS apps, Gen AI apps, endpoints, on-premise file shares and emails. Security teams can consolidate tools and policies, eliminate false positives and act with confidence – reducing alert fatigue while accelerating investigations and remediation at machine speed.
“At MIND, we empower organizations to thrive in this AI era by simplifying data security with intelligence, automation and a context-aware approach,” said Eran Barak, Co-Founder and CEO at MIND. “Gen AI, such as ChatGPT or Gemini, is a proven productivity enabler that’s here to stay and, for MIND, we’ve trained our AI models and developed hundreds of tailored algorithms to deliver innovations with sensitive data classification and automated prevention actions far beyond other data security tools. However, Gen AI apps also pose significant risks of data loss when employees use them, where we have seen sensitive data loss externally to training models or internally exposing it to any user within the same company. Being recognized by RSAC’s esteemed panel reaffirms the impact of our work and the real-world problems we are solving.”
The RSAC Innovation Sandbox contest kicks off at 9:30 AM PT on Monday, April 28 and winners will be announced at approximately noon the same day. The panel of renowned expert judges includes David Chen, Head of Global Technology Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley; Dorit Dor, Chief Technology Officer at Check Point Software Technologies; Niloofar Razi Howe, Operating Partner at Capitol Meridian Partners; Paul Kocher, Independent Researcher; Nasrin Rezai, SVP & CISO at Verizon; and Christopher Young, Investor and former CEO at McAfee and former Microsoft Exec; Hugh Thompson, RSAC Executive Chairman and Program Committee Chair of RSAC Conference, will return to host the contest.
